Vedic Mathematics: Navashesh - A Magical Result Verification Technique for Mathematical Problems | Examite

Navashesh: A Magical Result Verification Technique to find out the corrects MCQ answers.

VedicMathematics provide a very simple way of mathematical result verification. Nowadays we face with many difficult mathematical calculations in the competitive examinations where multiple answers are provided with the question or problem itself. Yes, you are right!!! I’m referring to the MCQs.
We are gonna learn this simple technique to find out the correct answer from the given multiple answers without calculating/solving the mathematical MCQ problems. This will save your valuable time to solve other questions at the examination hall.

Finding Navashesh:

Any number can be converted into a single digit (Navashesh) after adding its digits.
Let me explain this with  the help of examples:

Examples:
    • The Navashesh of the number 34 is (3+4) = 7
    • The Navashesh of the number 243 is (2+4+3) = 9
Note: In case of negative number add 9 to it.
Example:
The Navashesh of the number -732 => -(7+3+2) = -12 =-(1+2)= -3
                                                                => (-3 +9) = 6
Now you all may be surprised what does this Navashesh signify. So, Les come to the magical side of this.
You can use this methodology in Addition, Multiplication, Subtraction or division to verify the results. This formula simply states that Navashesh remains unchanged. In other words Navashesh of the digits before the operation and after the operation remains same.
Example:
                   65+37 =102
             Here , Navashesh of 65 is 2 and that of 37 is 1. Now 2+1 =3
             Which is same as the Navashesh of 102 i.e; 3.

So guys, now you may simply explore the power of Navashesh in your daily math problems without any difficult calculations.
Exercises:
Find out whether the answers are correct:
  1. 22 X 617 = 13884
  2. 3576 -2412 -162 = 2001
  3. 324 X 216 = 69984
  4. 19548 / 217 = 54
  5. 324 +244+ 840 = 1208
